An even split, and nothing hidden

Yes and no are equally likely on every ask. There is no weighting towards the positive answer, no streak-breaking logic, and no third "ask again later" option padding the odds. It is the same 50/50 as a coin, presented as an answer rather than a face.

Your question is optional and is only stored on your own receipt so you remember what you asked. It is not sent anywhere and it has no effect on the result - which is worth saying plainly, because a tool that appeared to read your question would be lying to you.

When a random yes or no is genuinely useful

Not for anything that matters. It is useful for the decisions where you have already weighed it up, both options are fine, and the deliberating has become the actual cost: whether to go out tonight, whether to order the thing, whether to send the message.

There is a second use that is more interesting. Ask the question, get the answer, and pay attention to your reaction. If "no" lands and you feel a flicker of disappointment, you have learned what you wanted - and you should ignore the wheel and do that instead. The randomiser is a way of surfacing a preference you were not admitting to, not a way of outsourcing the choice.

What this is not

It is not a prediction and it is not an oracle. It has no information about your situation. If you find yourself asking it about something with real consequences - money, health, a relationship, a job - that is a sign the decision needs a conversation with someone who knows the details, not a coin.

Checking the answer was not fudged
